El documental “Ángel Gregorio Villoldo: El hito cero del tango” tuvo su estreno ayer en el Cultural San Martín, con entrada libre y gratuita dentro del marco del Festival y Mundial Tango BA.
La película, dirigida por Tito Rivadeneira, repasa la vida y obra de Ángel Gregorio Villoldo (1861-1919), autor de piezas inmortales como “El choclo” y “La morocha”, reconocidas como los primeros tangos con proyección internacional.
Con el aporte de voces autorizadas como Gabriel Soria, Oscar del Priore, Enrique Binda, Sonia Ursini, Guillermo Elías y Marcelo Castelo, el film reconstruye el papel de Villoldo como compositor, letrista, guitarrista y difusor popular del tango, situándolo como la piedra basal de nuestra música ciudadana.
